Una mostra unica nel suo genere, nata per festeggiare l’uscita nelle sale il prossimo 22 aprile dell’attesissimo film “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
Tutto inizia nel 1963. Nel giro di pochi mesi la casa editrice Marvel lancia alcuni eroi di grandissimo successo: i Fantastici Quattro, Spider-Man, ma anche Iron Man, Hulk e Thor. L’idea di Stan Lee e Jack Kirby, che assieme avevano dato vita a buona parte di questi straordinari personaggi, è molto semplice: riunire gli eroi più potenti, “per combattere quei nemici che nessun eroe, da solo, potrebbe fronteggiare!”. La novità era nell’approccio adottato, riassunto nella celebre formula “supereroi con superproblemi”. Gli Avengers non solo avrebbero dovuto affrontare minacce esterne, ma anche risolvere rivalità, litigi e inimicizie tra loro.
Un ricco percorso espositivo con tavole originali dei più grandi autori stranieri e italiani, statue, gadget, manifesti, giochi in scatola, action figures, memorabilia, albi che, partendo dalle origini per arrivare ai giorni nostri, illustra la storia degli Eroi più potenti della Terra, dalle loro origini sulle pagine degli albi a fumetti negli anni Sessanta fino alla loro attuale veste cinematografica.
La mostra è divisa in aree tematiche di grande impatto dedicate principalmente a Thor, Iron Man, Captain America e Hulk, con stazioni interattive per vivere al meglio le loro avventure lunghe più di 50 anni!
A unique exhibition, created to celebrate the showing on the 22nd April of the much awaited film “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
It all started in 1963. Within a few months Marvel Comics published some of their most successful heroes: Fantastic Four, Spiderman as well as Ironman, Hulk and Thor. The idea of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, who together created the majority of these extraordinary characters, is very simple: bring together the most powerful heroes “to fight those enemies which no hero could face alone!”. The novelty is in the way in which this was done and can be summed up in the famous formula “superheroes with super-problems”. The Avengers would not only have to face outside threats but also solve rivalries, fights and unfriendliness among themselves.
The exhibition contains many original panels by Italian and foreign authors, statues, gadgets, posters, table-games, action figures, memorabilia and albums which illustrate the history of the most powerful Heroes of the Earth from their birth in comic books in the 60s to their present day film successes.
The exhibition is divided into four theme sections of great impact dedicated to Thor, Ironman, Captain America and Hulk, with interactive stops to better experience and live their 50 years of adventures.
