Una mostra in due tempi. Questo il motivo del titolo Inside Out.

Out: i fotografi del mondo, dal 1 luglio al 27 settembre 2015

La mostra fotografica vuole raccontare un viaggio, bellissimo, nella nostra Italia dal dopoguerra ad oggi e lo fa partendo dall’allestimento. D’impatto l’idea di montare la mostra in un grande “treno” diviso per vagoni quanti sono i fotografi presenti alla mostra.

Il viaggio per il Bel Paese ci vede quindi in carrozza e ci conduce attraverso città e campagne, ambienti industriali e meraviglie naturali, monumenti e periferie cittadine, per rendere omaggio a tutte le bellezze, le sfaccettature e le contaraddizioni di cui l’Italia e gli italiani sono ricchi.

In mostra oltre 250 immagini di quarantadue fotografi tra coloro che più hanno segnato l’evoluzione del linguaggio fotografico, con foto che vanno dal bianco e nero al colore, dalla narrazione umanista a quella più giornalistica, fino all’uso esplicito delle nuove tecnologie che permettono di costruire paesaggi d’invenzione.

Punti di vista diversi, partenze e arrivi differenti per raccontarci un bellissimo viaggio. A casa nostra.

A two-part exhibition which explains the title: Inside Out

Inside: exhibition of Italian photographers until 21^st June 2015

Out: international photographers from 1^st July to 27^th September 2015

This photographic exhibition leads the visitor on a beautiful journey from post-war Italy to the present day and does so starting with the very set-up of the exhibition. The idea of setting an exhibition in a big “train”, a carriage for each of the photographers in the exhibition is of great effect.

This journey through Italy has us already in the carriages and leads us through cities and open country, industrial sites and wonders of nature, monuments and suburbs to honor all the beauties and the contradictions which so abound in Italy and the Italians.

There are over 250 pictures by 42 of the photographers who mostly influenced the evolution of photography, with photos that go from black and white to color, from humanist to journalistic narrative, right up to the explicit use of new technologies which allow for the creation of imaginary landscapes.

Different points of view and different departures and arrivals to take us on a wonderful journey; in our home country.
