Cosa può far toccare il Perù e la città di Berlino? Certamente la mostra del grande fotografo peruviano Mario Testino, nato a Lima nel 1954. La personale, in corso dal 20 gennaio al 26 luglio, è allestita alla Kunstbibliothek, all’interno del Kulturforum di Berlino.

“In your face”, questo il titolo della mostra, propone oltre 100 scatti del maestro che ripercorrono la sua carriera e i volti, tutti noti, a colori o in bianco e nero, che ha immortatalato e reso celebri.

Questa volta posso solo raccontarvela per immagini perchè non ho in programma un viaggio aBerlino, ma mai dire mai! Certo non è dietro l’angolo, ma può essere una buona scusa!

What can connect Peru to Berlin? Most certainly the exhibition of the great Peruvian photographer Mario Testino who was born in Lima in 1954. The exhibition, at present running from 20th January to 26th July, can be visited at the Kunstbibliothek at Berlin’s Kulturforum.

“In your face” is the name of the exhibition of more than 100 of the maestro’s pictures taken throughout his career of faces, all well-known and either in colour or black and white, which he has immortalised and made famous.

This time I can only tell you about it in words because I haven’t planned a trip to Berlin, but never say never! I mean, it is not right next-door but it would be a wonderful excuse!
